HII, Myself Yogesh Bhaskar Ghuge here. First of all thanks to bankersadda
for providing me the opportunity to share my success story. I have graduated in
2016 as a political science optional in arts stream. I have not joined any
online or offline coaching for banking exams. I have cleared ibps clerk(vii)
 in the first attempt and served in the bank of india for 8 months. Then i
failed in ibps po mains 2018, sbi po pre-2018, rbi assistant mains 2017, niacl
assistant mains 2018, epfo ssa mains 2020, epfo aso pre-2019. While working i
was still on the run i had never settled now by then. Then i could manage to
crack sbi junior associate 2019 in the first attempt. I also worked in india’s
largest public sector bank sbi for 2 years. On 11th march i saw my name on the rrb
po list as a assistant manager (on the first attempt too) and allotted
my desired maharashtra gramin bank.

My Subject-wise Strategy As Follows-

English– Read the hindu newspaper daily. focus on editorials
and write down unknown words you come across while reading. try to understand
what the editor is trying to say. grasp the central idea. solve sectional
quizzes on adda 24*7 app. read, write and watch as much english content you
can. word connector – 

Reasoning – Watched youtube channel for clearing all basic
concepts. solve 5 adda24*7 app quizzes daily. regular practice makes a man
perfect in reasoning.

Maths– Cleared basic topics such as simplification,
approximation and quadratic equation, number series from youtube channel. Solve
5 data interpretations daily after dinner. Profit & loss, age, average and
time and work that’s all do only this topic if you are weak like me in maths it
will suffice. Don’t do all arithmetic topics except above. Instead, focus on
english it will sail your boat in prelims as well as mains.

General Awareness – Current affairs of last 6 months prelims
to mains. Focus on banking news especially rbi guidelines for banks or nbfc. Keep
an eye open on  stuff like  un/world bank/aiib/adb- funding to indian
states for various infra projects. Crucial news- basics of small finance bank,
bad bank, and payment bank. 

MOCK TESTS – Practice mock test series for prelims and
 mains exam. analyse mistakes made in mocks and improve on them. take
prelims mock test on alternate day.

Role Of Bankers Adda In My Success– Daily quizzes are my
 partners  in my success journey since 2018. moderate  questions
of adda quizzes made me mentally strong & confident enough to fight on the
