Success Story of Madhurima Dey

Hi, I am Madhurima Dey. I completed my BA LLB(Hons.) from the Department of Law, the University of North Bengal in August 2019. During my final year, I attempted CLAT 2019, almost without preparation, and ranked 362 in India. However, I didn’t pursue LLM. After graduation, I came to know about this IBPS SO exam but couldn’t prepare as I didn’t have my enrollment certificate till the last date of registration for the exam. (Enrollment with the state bar council is essential for attempting IBPS SO). After that, I attempted the SEBI grade exam in January 2021. I passed phase 1 of the exam with good marks but couldn’t pass phase 2 as it almost clashed with my IBPS SO interview ( for which I was trying really hard). I attempted IBPS SO 2020_21 and cracked it and have been allotted in UCO bank as a law officer (scale 1). Now about this exam. I couldn’t find any good material for the mains exam for law officers. There is also no good online training platform also. It entirely depends on yourself if you are from a small town like me. I think in bigger cities training centers are available. You can’t even find previous years’ question papers online. (I am only talking about law officers). There is no specific syllabus however laws related to banking are all important. Questions are getting really tough and vacancy is decreasing day by day. (It was 28 for unreserved this year. canara_6, boi_6 & uco_16). This time there were also some situation-based questions that one cannot answer by reading books/bare acts only. You either need in-depth knowledge or guidance from a training center. However, at last, I would like to thank Adda 247 as it helped me a lot in the prelims exam. (Especially for the current affairs part). It also gives a lot of information about various exams and helps students a lot.
