PREPARATORY (adjective) : तैयार करना
- Meaning: serving as or carrying out preparation for a task or undertaking.
- अर्थ: किसी कार्य या उपक्रम के लिए तैयारी करना या करना।
- Synonyms: preliminary, prior, introductory, prefatory.
- Antonyms: conclusive, ultimate, decisive, consequent.
- Usage: Agriculture and economic policy have their own special preparatory committees.
PETULANT(Adjective) : धृष्टतापूर्ण
- Meaning: easily angered or annoyed, esp. in a rude way
- अर्थ: आसानी से नाराज या नाराज, असभ्य तरीके से
- Synonyms: impatient, fractious
- Antonyms: agreeable, patient
- Usage: I have listened to the arguments, and have confined myself to an impatient or petulant intervention.
EXTOL (Verb) : प्रशंसा करना
- Meaning: praise enthusiastically.
- अर्थ: उत्साहपूर्वक प्रशंसा करना।
- Synonyms: eulogize, acclaim
- Antonyms: criticize
- Usage: I got angry when my mother would extol my brother’s accomplishments and ignore all the good things I did.
MEEK(Adjective) : निष्क्रिय
- Meaning: quiet and unwilling to disagree or fight or to strongly support personal ideas and opinions
- अर्थ: व्यक्तिगत विचारों और विचारों का दृढ़ता से समर्थन करने या लड़ने के लिए शांत और अनिच्छुक
- Synonyms: submissive, passive
- Antonyms: bold, brave
- Usage: The poor do not gain heaven, and the meek inherit the least of the earth.
CROTCHETY(Adjective) : सनकी
- Meaning: often in a bad mood and easily annoyed
- अर्थ: अक्सर बुरे मूड में और आसानी से नाराज
- Synonyms: grouchy, grumpy
- Antonyms: happy, pleasant
- Usage: By the time the meal began, the youngest children were getting tired and crotchety.
SLACKEN (Verb) : शिथिल करना
- Meaning: make or become slack.
- अर्थ: सुस्त हो जाना या बनाना।
- Synonyms: loosen, relax
- Antonyms: tighten
- Usage: It is now important for the central bank to ensure that the discipline in the system does not slacken.
MODICUM (Noun) : भोजन की थोड़ी मात्रा
- Meaning: a small quantity of a particular thing, especially something desirable or valuable.
- अर्थ: किसी विशेष चीज की थोड़ी मात्रा, विशेष रूप से वांछनीय या मूल्यवान।
- Synonyms: particle, degree, speck, fragment, scrap, ounce
- Antonyms: lot, whole
- Usage: his statement had a modicum of truth
ASPERSION (Noun) : कलंक
- Meaning: an attack on the reputation or integrity of someone or something.
- अर्थ: किसी या किसी चीज़ की प्रतिष्ठा या अखंडता पर हमला।
- Synonyms: denigration, defamation
- Antonyms: adulation, commendation
- Usage: Casting aspersions on the neutrality of the highest judicial authority in the country is unacceptable unless one can prove with reasonable material that he acted in a biased manner in choosing the first Lokpal.
PRECARIOUS(Adjective) : खतरनाक
- Meaning: in a dangerous state because of not being safe or not being held in place firmly
- अर्थ: सुरक्षित रूप से नहीं रहने या दृढ़ता से आयोजित नहीं होने के कारण एक खतरनाक स्थिति में
- Synonyms: dangerous, delicate
- Antonyms: healthy, guarded
- Usage: The lorry was lodged in a very precarious way, with its front wheels hanging over the cliff.
INFLOW(Noun) : चढ़ाई
- Meaning: the movement of money or assets into a business, an economy, an industry, etc.
- अर्थ: किसी व्यवसाय, अर्थव्यवस्था, उद्योग आदि में धन या संपत्ति की आवाजाही।
- Synonyms: incursion, inpouring
- Antonyms: retreat, outflow
- Usage: The booming economy has attracted an inflow of funds from both domestic and foreign investors.
