1. Swing [swing]=झुलाना
Verb/क्रिया: to cause to move to and fro, sway, or oscillate, as something suspended from above; to cause to move in alternate directions or in either direction around a fixed point, on an axis, or on a line of support, as a door on hinges.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: curve, dangle, flap, fluctuate, hang, lurch, pitch, pivot, rotate.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: stay, straighten, be still, remain, stabilize.

Example/उदाहरण: “All who are interested in their life and career are seeking and not falling prey to bandh and abetted turmoil,” he said.
2. Prey [prey]=शिकार करना
Noun/संज्ञा: an animal hunted or seized for food, especially by a carnivorous animal; a person or thing that is the victim of an enemy, a swindler, a disease, etc.; gull.
Verb: to seize and devour prey, as an animal does (usually followed by on or upon).
Synonyms/समानार्थी: casualty, chased, dupe, game, kill, loot, mark, martyr, mug, pillage.
Antonym/विलोमार्थी: attacker.
3. Bandh [bʌnd]=बंद
Noun/संज्ञा: (in India) a general strike.
4. Abet [uh-bet]=उकसाना
Verb/क्रिया: to encourage, support, or countenance by aid or approval, usually in wrongdoing.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: condone, incite, instigate, provoke, advocate, back, encourage, endorse.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: halt, prevent, stop, disapprove, discourage, dissuade, oppose, protest.
5. Turmoil [tur-moil]=उथल-पुथल
Noun/संज्ञा: a state of great commotion, confusion, or disturbance; tumult; agitation; disquiet.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: anxiety, confusion, disturbance, riot, strife, trouble, tumult, turbulence, unrest, violence.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: calm, calmness, composure, contentment, happiness, order, peace, tranquility.
Example/उदाहरण: A search operation was launched in Pathankot by the police and the Army after an abandoned bag containing Army fatigues was found.
6. Abandon [uh-ban-duh n]=परित्याग करना
Verb/क्रिया: to leave completely and finally; forsake utterly; desert; to give up; discontinue; withdraw from; to abandon hopes for a stage career; to give up the control of.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: spontaneity, disregard, freedom, impulse, licentiousness, recklessness, thoughtlessness, unrestraint.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: restraint, self-restraint.
7. Fatigue [fuh-teeg]=थकावट
Noun/संज्ञा: weariness from bodily or mental exertion; Military. labor of a generally nonmilitary kind done by soldiers, such as cleaning up an area, digging drainage ditches, or raking leaves; the state of being engaged in such labor.
Adjective/विशेषण: of or relating to fatigues or any clothing made to resemble them.
Verb: to weary with bodily or mental exertion; exhaust the strength of.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: lethargy, weakness, weariness, debility, dullness, enervation, ennui, exhaustion, faintness, feebleness.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: ability, energy, health, liveliness, strength, vigour.
Example/उदाहरण: Greenman puts new spins on clichés, and rescues his story from mediocrity by finding new ways of talking about melancholy.
8. Cliché [klee-shey, kli-]=रूढ़िवादी अभिव्यक्ति
Noun/संज्ञा: a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse.
Adjective/विशेषण: trite; hackneyed; stereotyped; clichéd.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: adage, banality, boiler plate, bromide, buzzword, chestnut, commonplace, corn, counterword, familiar tune.
9. Mediocrity [mee-dee-ok-ri-tee]=सामान्यता
Noun/संज्ञा: the state or quality of being mediocre; mediocre ability or accomplishment; a mediocre person.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: normality, averageness, commonness.
10. Melancholy [mel-uh n-kol-ee]=उदासी
Noun/संज्ञा: a gloomy state of mind, especially when habitual or prolonged; depression; sober thoughtfulness; pensiveness.
Adjective/विशेषण: affected with, characterized by, or showing melancholy; mournful; depressed; causing melancholy or sadness; saddening; soberly thoughtful; pensive.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: gloomy, grim, mournful, pensive, somber, sorrowful, trite, wistful, blue, down, downbeat, downcast, low.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: bright, cheerful, happy, joyful, sunny, above.
