Directions (6-15): In the following passage, some of
the words have been left out, each of which is indicated by a number. Find the
suitable word from the options given against each number and fill up the blanks
with appropriate words to make the paragraph meaningful.
The (6) of the aattukkal in the kitchen ended when the
mixer-grinder came into the market in the latter part of the 20th century.

was affectionately called, the ammikkal also found a place in the attic. Of

rituals. And thekozhavi also has a purpose now outside of the
kitchen. During valaikappu ceremony (formal bangle-wearing ritual a
