1. Inherent [in-heer-uh nt, -her-] =निहित
Adjective: existing in someone or something as a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute; inhering.
Synonyms: built-in, constitutional, deep-rooted, deep-seated, essential, fundamental, genetic, implicit, ingrained.
Antonyms: acquired, auxiliary, extra, extrinsic, learned, minor.
2. Defile [dih-fahyl]=अशुद्ध
Verb: to make foul, dirty, or unclean; pollute; taint; debase; to violate the chastity of; to make impure for ceremonial use; desecrate; to sully, as a person’s reputation.
Synonyms: besmirch, debase, degrade, desecrate, discolor, dishonor, sully.
Antonyms: elevate, honor, praise, upgrade, assist, clean cleanse.
3. Counterproductive [koun-ter-pruh-duhk-tiv]=अनुत्पादक
Adjective: thwarting the achievement of an intended goal; tending to defeat one’s purpose.
Synonyms: biased, bigoted, damaging, detrimental, disadvantageous, discriminatory, hurtful, inimical.
Antonyms: advantageous, aiding, assisting, beneficial, fair, favorable, friendly.
Example: Multiculturalism is part of the Indian society and any attempt to monochrome it will be self-defeating.
 4. Monochrome [mon-uh-krohm]=एकरंगा
Noun: a painting or drawing in different shades of a single color; the art or technique of producing such a painting or drawing; the state or condition of being painted, decorated, etc., in shades of a single color.
Adjective: being or made in the shades of a single color.
Synonyms: consistent, continual, nonstop, perpetual, regular, stable, steady.
Antonyms: broken, discontinuous, imbalance, dinconsistent, inconstant, infrequent, intermittent.
Example: Seeing and projecting the country as a unidimensional monolith may seem to be an easy way out but will be both fruitless and counterproductive, hindering our peaceful and sustainable development.
5. Monolith [mon-uh-lith] =केवल एक  पत्थर से बना
Noun: an obelisk, column, large statue, etc., formed of a single block of stone; a single block or piece of stone of considerable size, especially when used in architecture or sculpture; something having a uniform, massive, redoubtable, or inflexible quality or character.
Synonyms: block, column, menhir, monument, pillar, statue.
6. Hinder [hin-der] =बाधा पहुंचाना
Verb: to cause delay, interruption, or difficulty in; hamper; impede; to prevent from doing, acting, or happening; stop.
Synonyms: block, burden, crimp, cripple, curb, delay, deter, frustrate.
Antonyms: advance, aid, allow, assist, encourage, expedite, facilitate.
7. Sustainable [suh-stey-nuh-buh l] =सतत
Adjective: capable of being supported or upheld, as by having its weight borne from below; pertaining to a system that maintains its own viability by using techniques that allow for continual reuse.
Synonyms: continual, continuous, viable, feasible, unceasing, green, imperishable, livable.
Antonyms: untenable, tiring, unendurable, unsuitable, brief, fleeting.
Example: Any kind of action to tamper with the idea of diversity will only result in conflicts and resistance.
8. Tamper [tam-per]=हस्तक्षेप करना
Verb: to meddle, especially for the purpose of altering, damaging, or misusing; to make changes in something, especially in order to falsify.
Synonyms: meddle, tinker, busybody, change, cook, cut.
Antonyms: improve, leave alone, remain, repair, stay.
Example: However, these identities have also been repeatedly used by the power elite to serve their own interests.
9. Elite [ih-leet, ey-leet]=समाज का उत्कृष्ट भाग
Noun: the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons; persons of the highest class; a group of persons exercising the major share of authority or influence within a larger group.
Synonyms: exclusive, choice, cool, crack, elect, noble, pick.
Antonyms: bad, inferior, poor, second-rate, common, low-class.
Example: The fate of many anti-poverty programs has ebbed and flowed ever since.
10. Ebb [eb]=अवनति
Noun: the flowing back of the tide as the water returns to the sea (opposed to flood, flow ); a flowing backward or away; decline or decay; a point of decline.
Verb: to flow back or away, as the water of a tide (opposed to flow ); to decline or decay; fade away.
Synonyms: abatement, backflow, decay, decrease, degeneration, depreciation, deterioration.
Antonyms: advance, development, enlargement, expansion, growth, improvement.
