Solution (1-5):
Sol. Symbols: The symbols are coded as per the number of vowels in the words. If the number of vowels in the word is even then “@”, and if the number of vowels in the word is odd then “#”.
Alphabets: The alphabet is coded as the next letter of the 1st letter of the word from the left end.
Numbers: The numbers are coded as the positional value in the English Alphabetical series of the last letter of the word from the left end. Ex-Corner is coded as @D18.
There are two vowels-@, next letter of C is D, position of the last letter, i.e., R is 18.

Solution (6-10):
Sol. Step I: The first element of the code is 3rd succeeding alphabet (as per alphabetical series) of the 2nd last alphabet of the word.
Step II: The second element is the symbol based on the number of letters.
If the number of letters is even – @, if the number of letters is odd – #
Step III: The difference between the positions 1st and last alphabets of the word is obtained. For, e.g., AFRAID – L@3 [I + 3 = L, even number of letters, so @, difference of A and D is 3].
