Success Story of Shreya Agrawal Selected As IBPS PO 2021
I completed my graduation in 2018 and immediately decided to completely dedicate myself to my goal and hence jumped into the UPSC preparation.
Meanwhile just to get familiar with the trends of govt exams, attempted SSSC CGL 2018 exam, and reached the document verification but couldn’t make it into the final list of the separate posts.
Gave 3 UPSC CSE attempts but couldn’t qualify the prelims.
UPPCS: couldn’t qualify the mains round.
To be at peace with the competitive world, gave many govt exams (not intended for a job but to keep my momentum to gain knowledge and experiences continuously) but was always completely determined toward the civil services exam.
Very soon due to the rigorous study hours that UPSC prep. takes in and excessive competition stress, my health condition started deteriorating.
After the pandemic, I realized that fulfilling the dream is important but health comes first and so I decided to give myself a break.
But, meanwhile, to be productively active as a valuable human resource, I decided to have a backup for myself- a decent job to be financially independent and mentally stable to calmly concentrate on my preparation ahead was required as a backup. And this was the time when banking exams came as a panacea for me. So, In Sept 2021 decided to appear for SBI PO and IBPS PO. Couldn’t qualify SBI PO prelims general cutoff by 2 marks.
Then,
1st April 2022: IBPS Probationary Officer result declared: Qualified in the first attempt.
Now, planning to give the upcoming Jaiib exam and also Targetting the RBI grade B officer exam along with joining as PO in Canara Bank. Also, waiting for the RBI Assistant prelims result.
And then very soon will regain momentum to prepare for civil services again.
To keep striving for success is my mantra. This success in IBPS PO after the repeated failures has boosted my confidence and encouraged me to fly high without being afraid of failures anymore.
After repeated failures and hardships that I faced during this journey, the only thing that kept me going was “I can And I will- just keep going”.
In this journey, be it SSC CGL 2018 or IBPS PO. Adda247 has been a great support for me. I followed the test series along with daily mocks uploaded on the app and the revision videos from youtube.
