DOWNGRADE (Verb) : अधोगति

• Meaning: reduce to a lower grade, rank, or level of importance.
• अर्थ: निम्न श्रेणी, रैंक, या महत्व के स्तर को कम करना।
• Synonyms: decline, declivity, descent, dip, hill, inclination
• Antonyms: ascent, improvement, increase, rise
• Usage: His career has been on the downgrade.

XENOPHOBIC (adjective) : अज्ञातजन भीति/ विदेशी द्वेश

• Meaning: having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries.
• अर्थ: दूसरे देशों के लोगों के प्रति अरुचि या पूर्वाग्रह का होना।
• Synonyms: racist, racialist, ethnocentric, ethnocentrist.
• Antonyms: bountiful, permissive, thoughtful, lenient.
• Usage: As a result, the new parliament is distinctly more xenophobic and illiberal than its predecessor.

Putsch(Noun) : क्रान्ति

• Meaning: a violent attempt to overthrow a government;
• अर्थ: एक सरकार को उखाड़ फेंकने का एक हिंसक प्रयास;
• synonym: Group action, takeover
• Antonym: Segregation, cooperation
• Usage: It was also another putsch, another military putsch, very violent.

Inexorable(Adjective) : निष्ठुर

• Meaning: Impossible to stop or prevent
• अर्थ: रोकने या रोकने के लिए असंभव
• synonym: intransigent, unbending
• Antonym: Kind, Nice 
• Usage: Her inexorable discipline soon made the shivali a model for the rest of her team.

VEST (verb) : निहित होना

• Meaning: confer or bestow (power, authority, property, etc.) on someone.
• अर्थ: किसी पर शक्ति या अधिकार (शक्ति, अधिकार, संपत्ति इत्यादि) प्रदान करना या देना।
• Synonyms: entrust, invest, bestow, confer.
• Antonyms: impede, inhibit, disqualify, disbar.
• Usage: Extensive powers were vested into the hands of the President who headed the executive branch of government.

MURKY(Adjective) : धुंधला

• Meaning: dark and dirty or difficult to see through
• अर्थ: अंधेरे और गंदे या मुश्किल से देखना
• Synonyms: cloudy, dark
• Antonyms: bright, luminous
• Usage: The river was brown and murky after the storm.

DRUB (Verb) : पीटना

• Meaning: hit or beat (someone) repeatedly.
• अर्थ: बार-बार मारना या पीटना (किसी को)।
• Synonyms: thrash, trounce, spank, beat
• Antonyms: aid
• Usage: Continuing to drub the victim with his fist, the attacker didn’t stop until the police showed up.

LUCID(Adjective) : स्पष्ट अर्थ का

• Meaning: clearly expressed and easy to understand, or (of a person) thinking or speaking clearly
• अर्थ: स्पष्ट रूप से व्यक्त और समझने में आसान, या (किसी व्यक्ति की) सोच या स्पष्ट रूप से बोलना
• Synonyms: clear, distinct
• Antonyms: unclear, gloomy
• Usage: The drugs she’s taking make her drowsy and confused, but there are times when she’s quite lucid.

DEMEAN : नीचा दिखाना

• Meaning: cause a severe loss in the dignity of and respect for (someone or something).
• अर्थ: (किसी या किसी चीज़) के लिए और सम्मान की गरिमा में भारी कमी आई।
• Synonyms: degrading, humiliating, inglorious, abject
• Antonyms: admire, elevate, honor, laud
• Usage: We should not demean any profession.

RELENT (verb) : नरम पड़ना

• Meaning: to cease resistance (as to another’s arguments, demands, or control).
• अर्थ: प्रतिरोध को रोकना (दूसरे के तर्क, मांग या नियंत्रण के अनुसार)।
• Synonyms: concede, give in, submit, succumb.
• Antonyms: combat, confront, counter, defy.
• Usage: Because my mother is very angry, she won’t relent on my severe punishment.
