1. Sluggish [sluhg-ish] :सुस्त
Adjective: indisposed to action or exertion; lacking in energy; lazy; indolent; not acting or working with full vigor, as bodily organs; slow to act or respond; moving slowly, or having little motion, as a stream.
Synonyms: heavy, inactive, lethargic, listless, slack, slow, stagnant, apathetic, blah, comatose, dopey.
Antonyms: active, alert, busy, energetic, lively.
2. Prompt [prompt] :शीघ्र, बिना किसी रुकावट के
Adjective: done, performed, delivered, etc., at once or without delay; ready in action; quick to act as occasion demands; quick or alert.
Verb: to move or induce to action; to occasion or incite; inspire.
Synonyms: efficient, expeditious, immediate, instantaneous, precise, punctual, quick, rapid, speedy.
Antonyms: delayed, late, later, slow, sluggish.

3. Spur [spur] : पर्वत-स्कंध, एड़ लगाना
Noun: a U -shaped device that slips over and straps to the heel of a boot and has a blunt, pointed, or roweled projection at the back for use by a mounted rider to urge a horse forward; anything that goads, impels, or urges, as to action, speed, or achievement.
Verb: to prick with or as if with a spur or spurs; incite or urge on; to strike or wound with the spur, as a gamecock; to furnish with spurs or a spur; to proceed hurriedly; press forward.
Synonyms: activation, actuation, catalyst, excitant, goad, goose, impetus, impulse.
Antonyms: block, deterrent, discouragement, hindrance, prevention.

Example: Easing the rhetoric.

4. Rhetoric [ret-er-ik] : भाषण की कला, अलंकार शास्र, 
Noun: (in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast; the art or science of all specialized literary uses of language in prose or verse, including the figures of speech; the study of the effective use of language; the ability to use language effectively.
Synonyms: hyperbole, oratory, address, balderdash, bombast, composition, discourse, elocution, eloquence, fustian, grandiloquence.
Antonyms: quiet, conciseness.

Example: Wimbledon’s greatest illusion is the sense of timelessness it evokes.

5. Evoke [ih-vohk] : पुकारना, जाग्रत करना
Verb: to call up or produce (memories, feelings, etc.); to elicit or draw forth; to call up; cause to appear; summon.
Synonyms: arouse, conjure, elicit, invoke, provoke, recall, awaken, call, educe, evince, evolve, excite, extort.
Antonyms: calm, deaden, decrease, ignore, repress.

Example: Over the past fortnight on its hallowed lawns, one of its finest champions managed to pull off a similar impression.

6. Hallowed [hal-ohd; in liturgical use often hal-oh-id] : पवित्र
Adjective: regarded as holy; venerated; sacred.
Synonyms: holy, sacred, anointed, beatified, blessed, consecrated, dedicated, divine, enshrined.
Antonyms: irreligious, unholy, unsacred, desecrated, profane.

7. Pull offसफलतापूर्वक प्रदर्शन करने के लिए, साहसी
to perform successfully, especially something requiring courage, daring, or shrewdness.
Synonyms: achieve, bring off, manage, carry out, score, score a success, secure, succeed, win.
Antonyms: fail, lose.

Example: For India, the impact of a closer camaraderie with the U.S. is better judged by the challenges the superpower’s receding global role presents.

8. Camaraderie [kah-muh-rah-duh-ree, -rad-uh-, kam-uh-] : सौहार्द, भाई-चारा
Noun: comradeship; good-fellowship.

9. Recede [ri-seed] :दूर जाना
Verb: to go or move away; retreat; go to or toward a more distant point; withdraw; to become more distant.
Synonyms: abate, decrease, diminish, dwindle, ebb, fade, fall back, lessen, reduce, retreat.
Antonyms: develop, enhance, enlarge, expand.
Synonyms: companionship, intimacy, togetherness, cheer, companionability, comradeship, conviviality.
Antonyms: gloom, bad blood, dislike, hate.

Example: Bank sentry shot dead.

10. Sentry [sen-tree] : पहरेदार, रक्षापुस्र्ष
Noun: a soldier stationed at a place to stand guard and prevent the passage of unauthorized persons, watch for fires, etc., especially a sentinel stationed at a pass, gate, opening in a defense work, or the like; a member of a guard or watch.
Synonyms: sentinel, guard.
