Hello, My name is Priyambada Karn and I am from Bihar. I have done my graduation in B.Sc Biotechnology. I have cleared SBI clerk 2020 exam and it just feels amazing to share my success story with you guys.

I started banking exams preparation in 2019 and SBI clerk was my 1st attempt. From the 1st day itself, I followed Adda247. The best thing on Adda247 for a beginner is the daily quizzes.

While preparing for Prelims, I always focused on my speed as Pre is all about maximum attempts with accuracy. I gave a lot of mocks from Adda247, Practicemock, and App to increase my speed.

For Mains, my strategy was not different. I adopted the same method. I had purchased the mock tests from the Adda app. But Mains is all about selecting the right questions and how clear your concepts are.

Now, my strategy for each section:-

1. Reasoning – Reasoning was my strongest section. For this, I used to practice mocks from Adda and used to solve 3-4 puzzles daily. Puzzles are the most important part of this section…. In Mains you almost get 15-20 questions related to puzzles.

2. Quant – For Prelims, go through Number series, quadratic equations and simplification…this can easily give you 15-20 marks. For Mains, I used to very selective. I always solved questions from my strong area, and then switch to other questions.

3. English – For English, I practiced a lot of mocks and improved my weak areas. One basic thing you can do is Read an English newspaper daily. This will also help in descriptive part.

4. General awareness – GK was my weakest section. I just followed Adda247 weekly and monthly PDFs. This is the most scoring section.

Now one thing, Analyze your strong section and then give more time to brush up that section because it’s much better to give more time on the strongest section than on weakest section. Go through the previous year’s paper and practice a lot of mocks, as *PRACTICE* will only increase your accuracy.
