IBPS PO 2019 : Central Bank में चयनित यश चौधरी की Success Story

Hello Everyone,

I am Yash Chaudhary, I started my preparation in the year 2018, I have completed my B.Tech in 2017, after that I did a job for around 3 months in a private company but I was not satisfied with the job as I always aspired to be a banker. So I left the job and started self- preparation, the Journey was not that easy, I searched for the best banking preparation apps and website and then I got to know about Adda247, the best among all, their online classes helped me a lot in my preparation especially in reasoning section and their app helped a lot in revising current affairs and daily quizzes helped me in boosting up my preparation.

In these 2 years, I took around 10 exams like SBI PO, SBI CLERK, IBPS PO, LIC ASSISTANT, etc. but initially I was lacking many things, Although I cleared SBI PO 2018 prelims in my first attempt but was not able to clear mains and this scenario continued with other exams too. Then I kept my focus on giving mock tests and doing a detailed analysis of them thanks to Adda247, for keeping me motivated by that time.

It was 1st April 2019 I had cleared the prelims, mains and went through the interview processes of IBPS PO 2018 I was pretty sure about the selection then the result came I missed the final cut off by 2 marks and was not able to clear the merit. I was very disappointed and went through a sleepless night.

I motivated myself again and did a detailed analysis of where I was lacking then I got to understand one thing “Learning how to take an exam is more important than exam preparation” after that I started giving more mock tests and tried finishing them in a time before the prescribed time. It helped me a lot. One more thing I did is that I started visualizing my goal to be a banker. Around 30-40 minutes at the end of the day I started thinking positively about my goal being a banker and how would I work there etc. That kept me motivated and I started feeling good about it. “Visualizing and feeling happy about your goals can do wonders for you, it would send a correct message to this universe that you desperately want to achieve it”.

Finally, the success came, I cleared IBPS PO 2019 prelims by securing 81.5 marks and then cleared mains by a good margin and went through the interview process. Adda247’s mock interviews helped me a lot in that and finally after all that hard work and dedication I am selected as a PO in Central Bank of India.

I can suggest you few things based on my experience:-

• “Always keep that zeal ignited inside you regarding your goal and never lose hope”
• “Work hard in silence and let your success make the noise”, there will be doubters but you are there to prove them wrong.
• “Visualize your goal as a banker and feel positive about it every day it will do wonders for you, maybe the best version of you is yet to come”
• Always do a detailed analysis of yourself and your preparation.
• Be patient and always talk to the people who have overcome the struggle and have done wonders in their field.
