Meaning: a petty lie., pretentious nonsense.

Meaning: lose or cause to lose lustre, especially as a result of exposure to air or moisture

Meaning: the doctrine or belief that there is only one God.

Meaning: the saying of the same thing twice over in different words, generally considered to be a fault of style

Meaning: cause (someone) to feel very embarrassed or ashamed.

Meaning: excessive confidence or boldness; audacity

10. Moribund
Meaning: (of a thing) in terminal decline; lacking vitality or vigour.
Synonym: waning, dying, stagnating, stagnant, decaying,
Antonym: thriving, recovering, flourishing
Sentence: “the moribund commercial property market”
