Meaning/अर्थ: contemplate or conceive of as a possibility or a desirable future event.

5.Clemency (noun)=दया
Meaning/अर्थ: mercy; lenience.

6.Preclude (verb)=बंद करना
Meaning/अर्थ: prevent from happening; make impossible.

7.Uncanny (adjective)=अलौकिक
Meaning/अर्थ: strange or mysterious, especially in an unsettling way.
Synonyms: eerie, unnatural, preternatural, supernatural, unearthly, other-worldly, unreal, ghostly, mysterious, strange, abnormal, odd, curious, queer, weird, bizarre.

8.Covenant (noun)
Meaning: an agreement.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: contract, compact, treaty, pact, accord, deal, bargain, settlement, concordat, protocol, entente, agreement, arrangement, understanding, pledge, promise.
Example/उदाहरण: Belief is a matter of personal choice and no external authority, whether state, cultural community or religious congregation, can tell an individual what her beliefs should be. To do so is to violate the individual’s freedom of conscience guaranteed by most constitutional systems and human rights covenants.
9.Empirical (adjective)=प्रयोगसिद्ध/आनुभविक
Meaning/अर्थ: based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: observed, seen, factual, actual, real, verifiable, first-hand;
Example/उदाहरण: In contrast, the ‘matters of faith’ which the RSS and the AIMPLB are referring to — while they may look similar to ‘matters of conscience’ — are not so for they are group, not individual, centric. They have a component that is based on evidence, whether this is textual, historical, or empirical.
10.Orthodox (adjective)=रूढ़िवादी
Meaning/अर्थ: following or conforming to the traditional or generally accepted rules or beliefs of a religion, philosophy, or practice.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: conservative, traditional, observant, conformist,
Example/उदाहरण: When the counsel for the AIMPLB says that there is “no question of constitutional morality and equity” in matters of faith, he is building a wall, a fashion these days, behind which the orthodox will police their community.
