1. Culminate [kuhl-muh-neyt] =समापन
Verb/क्रिया: to reach the highest point, summit, or highest development (usually followed by in); to end or arrive at a final stage (usually followed by in); to rise to or form an apex; terminate (usually followed by in).
Synonyms/समानार्थी: crowning, peak, supreme, ultimate.

2. Paradigm [par-uh-dahym, -dim] =उदाहरण
Noun/संज्ञा: a set of forms all of which contain a particular element, especially the set of all inflected forms based on a single stem or theme.
a display in fixed arrangement of such a set, as boy, boy’s, boys, boys’; an example serving as a model; pattern.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: mold, standard; ideal, paragon, touchstone.

3. Benign [bih-nahyn] =सौम्य
Adjective/विशेषण: having a kindly disposition; gracious; showing or expressive of gentleness or kindness; favorable; propitious.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: benevolent, favorable, friendly, gentle, mild, benignant, amiable, beneficent, complaisant, congenial, generous.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: harsh, rough, unfriendly, unkind, violent, bad.

Example/अर्थ: CII strongly recommends a rate cut of 50 basis points in the forthcoming monetary policy to provide a fillip to demand.

4. Fillip [fil-uh p] =प्रोत्साहन
Verb/क्रिया: to strike with the nail of a finger snapped from the end of the thumb; to tap or strike smartly; to drive by or as by a fillip.
Noun/संज्ञा: an act or instance of filliping; a smart tap or stroke.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: boost, charge, flip, incentive, tap, excite.

Example/अर्थ: Unveils indigenous driverless golf cart.

5. Unveil [uhn-veyl] =अनावरण करना
Verb/क्रिया: to remove a veil or other covering from; display; reveal; to reveal or disclose by or as if by removing a veil or covering.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: disclose, display, open, tell, bare, betray, discover, divulge, expose, show, spring.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: conceal, cover, hide, secrete, withhold.

Example/अर्थ: Web nod soon for dry ports, cargo stations.

6. Cargo [kahr-goh] =माल/जहाज़ी माल
Noun/संज्ञा: the lading or freight of a ship, airplane, etc.; load; cargos, pants or shorts having several cargo pockets to hold bulky gear and small items.
Adjective/विशेषण: of or denoting a style of pants or shorts with cargo pockets.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: consignment, freight, goods, load, merchandise, payload, shipment, burden, contents.

Example/अर्थ: ICDs (considered as dry ports), CFS and AFS provide “services for handling and temporary storage of import/export laden and empty containers carried under customs control.

7. Laden [leyd-n] =जहाज पर बोझ लादा हुआ
Adjective/विशेषण: burdened; loaded down.
Verb/क्रिया: to lade.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: burdened, charged, encumbered, full, hampered, oppressed, taxed, weighted, fraught.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: empty, light, unladen, unloaded.

Example/अर्थ: Though the IMC is virtually a single window clearance mechanism, hailed as a major reform then, the process is now considered cumbersome as it involves submission of several documents and reports before and after the approval.

8. Hail [heyl]=जयकार करना
Verb/क्रिया: to cheer, salute, or greet; welcome; to acclaim; approve enthusiastically; to call out to in order to stop, attract attention, ask aid, etc.
Synonyms: barrage, bombardment, hailstorm, rain, salvo, shower, storm, volley, broadside.

9. Cumbersome [kuhm-ber-suh m] =बोझिल
Adjective/विशेषण: burdensome; troublesome; unwieldy; clumsy.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: bulky, burdensome, embarrassing, heavy, inconvenient, ponderous, tiresome, unwieldy.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: aiding, airy, convenient, easy, fun.

Example/अर्थ: With goods imports outpacing exports in June, trade deficit for the month widened to $12.95 billion, according to data released by the commerce ministry on Friday.

10. Outpace [out-peys] =आगे बढ़ना
Verb/क्रिया: to surpass or exceed, as in speed, development, or performance.
Synonyms/समानार्थी: outdo, outpace, outrun, outstrip, pass, break away from the pack.
Antonyms/विलोमार्थी: fail, lose, associate, be friendly, go to.
