1. Huddle [huhd-l]-भीड़-भाड़ 
Verb: to gather or crowd together in a close mass; to crouch, curl up, or draw oneself together; Football. to get together in a huddle.
Noun: a closely gathered group, mass, or heap; bunch.
Synonyms: disorganized
bunch, chaos, cluster, clutter, confab, conference, confusion, disarray, discussion, disorder, gathering, group, heap, jumble.
Antonyms: arrangement, calm, harmony, individual.

Example/उदाहरण: The top-level discussions could be a precursor to some relief measures that may be announced as early as Friday when the GST Council meets in the capital, as the discussions stretched till late evening, compelling Mr. Jaitley to skip the World Economic Forum’s India Economic Summit.

2. Precursor [pri-kur-ser, pree-kur-]-अग्रगामी/अग्रदूत 
Noun: a person or thing that precedes, as in a job, a method, etc.; predecessor; a person, animal, or thing that goes before and indicates the approach of someone or something else; harbinger.
Synonyms: or event beforehand
forerunner, harbinger, herald, messenger, outrider, usher, vanguard.

Example/उदाहरण: Lightning kills six in Mysuru district; downpour worsens traffic snarls in Garden City.

3. Downpour [doun-pawr, -pohr]-मूसलधार बारिश 
Noun: a heavy, drenching rain.
Synonyms: deluge, flood, monsoon, rainstorm, storm, cloudburst, inundation, drencher, torrential rain.
Antonym: sprinkle.

4. Snarl [snahrl]-गिरह/फ़साना 
Verb: to growl threateningly or viciously, especially with a raised upper lip to bare the teeth, as a dog; to speak in a surly or threatening manner suggestive of a dog's snarl.
Noun: the act of snarling; a snarling sound or utterance.
Synonyms: bark, growl, mutter, abuse, bluster, bully, complain, fulminate, gnarl, mumble, murmur, quarrel, snap, threaten, thunder, yelp.
Antonyms: approve, commend, compliment, defend.

Example/उदाहरण: Tail wags the dog in Kathmandu.1.

5. Tail wagging the dog:-एक ऐसी स्थिति है जहां एक छोटा हिस्सा पूरे भाग को नियंत्रित करता है
a situation where a small part is controlling the whole of something.

Example/उदाहरण: We needed respite after the decade of conflict, the decade of Constitution-writing, and times of communal polarisation and foreign interventionism.

6. Respite [res-pit]-मोहलत/राहत/विराम 
Noun: a delay or cessation for a time, especially of anything distressing or trying; an interval of relief; temporary suspension of the execution of a person condemned to death; reprieve.
Verb: to relieve temporarily, especially from anything distressing or trying; give an interval of relief from; to grant delay in the carrying out of (a punishment, obligation, etc.).
Synonyms: breather, breathing space, downtime, hiatus, interruption, layoff, letup, lull, recess, relaxation, relief, reprieve, truce, acquittal, adjournment, break, breath, cessation, deadlock, deferment, delay, deliverance, discharge, ease, exculpation, five, forgiveness, halt.

7. Polarization [poh-ler-uh-zey-shuh n]-ध्रुवीकरण 
Noun: a sharp division, as of a population or group, into opposing factions.
Synonyms: emission, broadcast, circulation, diffraction, diffusion, dispersal, dispersion, dissipation, distribution, divarication, divergence, propagation, ramification, scattering, spread, transmission.
Antonym: collection.

8. Interventionism [in-ter-ven-shuh-niz-uh m]-हस्तक्षेपवाद 
Noun: the policy or doctrine of intervening, especially government interference in the affairs of another state or in domestic economic affairs.

Example/उदाहरण: In India’s highly segmented labour market, one can still discern at least three demographic groups that are in urgent need of jobs: a growing number of better educated youth; uneducated agricultural workers who wish to leave agricultural distress behind; and young women, who too are better educated than ever before.

9. Discern [dih-surn, -zurn]-देख लेना/पहचानना

Antonyms: confuse, doubt, miss, mix up.

10. Demographic [dem-uh-graf-ik, dee-muh-]-जनसांख्यिकीय 
Adjective: of or relating to demography, the science of vital and social statistics.
Noun: a single vital or social statistic of a human population, as the number of births or deaths; a specific segment of a population having shared characteristics.
Synonyms: analytical, numerical, arithmetical, probability.
